Avatar as a movie was obviously a major breakthrough in 3D technology, and computer animation. The story line is well done as well. That being said it has some typical Hollywood flaws. Its filled with so-Cal new-age religion & was quite obviously written from the perspective of a liberal watching the war in Iraq during the George Bush Administration (i.e. all of the anti-war rhetoric before the "Corporation" makes their attack). It was an obvious show of disdain for the American military expressed through a vision of the future. Many backwards messages in this movie (as is typical these days). Obviously a sequel is in the works. Does there really need to be a warning for "some smoking"?
