FOUR CHRISTMASES

Vince Vaughn is no stranger to doing Christmas-themed movies with Fred Claus to his credit. Vaughn and Resse Witherspoon play an unmarried couple who visits their parents for Christmas. FOUR CHRISTMASES was a pretty, decent holiday movie. The story line could have been a little longer, but it was still enjoyable.

Cadillac Records is the story of the ups and downs of a record company, Chess Records, it's founder, Leonard Chess and it's artists.
This movie continues the tradition of "What's Love Got To Do With It" and "Ray' with great musical performances, an intense and dramatic story line & wonderful acting by Adrien Brody, Jeffrey Wright, Mos Def and Beyonce Knowles as Etta James.
Go check out Cadillac Records! I loved it and so will you!

TRANSPORTER 3

Transporter 3 had a lot of pretty intense action scenes here. However, that was the only highlight of this movie because the story line is more of a James Bond or Jason Bourne rip-off . So you can wait until it comes out on DVD.

TWLIGHT

This was actually a love story as opposed to being a vampire-type horror film. Twilight is a story of two teenagers from different struggling to find their place in the world and they find it in each other. The story line was pretty cool and I think you will enjoy it.

BOLT IN DISNEY DIGITAL 3-D

Bolt is a dog who stars in an action series of the same name, not realizing that his world is not real until after he steps outside the television studio and explores the world outside of it. John Travolta is the voice of the title character and Miley Cyrus is the voice of Bolt's friend, Penny. I attended a sneak peak of this movie after watching High School Musical 3 and I must say I had a really good time watching it. Another great dog-themed movie from Walt Disney Pictures. You and your family will enjoy it.

HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL 3

I only saw bits and pieces of the first two HSM movies on the Disney Musical. But since Zac Efron's performance in Hairspray, I decided to check out HSM3 and even though I may be a little too old for this movie's target audience, I really enjoyed it a lot. The music and dancing were great and it is a true feel-good movie. Check out HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL 3, it could be the Grease of the 2000's.

CHANGELING

Clint Eastwood shows us just how great of a director he is with this film. CHANGELING tells the story of police corruption in the 1920's. Angelina Jolie gives a superb performance as a mother who goes in search of her son, only to run into all kinds of trouble with the police. The story line was excellent and I think it deserves a couple of Oscar nominations next year. One for Jolie's acting and one for Eastwood's directing. Go check out CHANGELING for yourself and you will immediately see why.

SOUL MEN

Samuel L. Jackson and Bernie Mac are hilarious as former soul singer who reunite to sing at a funeral of their former partner. SOUL MEN is an absolute laugh riot, which also serves a send-off to two great performers, Bernie Mac and Issac Hayes, who also stars in this film. They will both be missed.

Samuel L. Jackson turns out a pretty good performance here as a racist cop who stalks an interracial couple who moves into his neighborhood. The story line to me is sort of a clone of Disturbia. But it is still a pretty good movie.

The performances from Christian Bale as the title role and Heath Ledger as The Joker are both incredible! The Dark Knight is the best Batman movie ever! Period!
