This movie has a little of everything from past movies.A little like a western in the Clint eastwood style,like "High Plains Drifter",a guy coming into a lawless town and meeting the bad guys.It also reminded me of Mel Gibson's first movie"Road Warriors",same sort of plot and background -a post earth after a flash! Finally it had a action plot and and violence for the teenage crowd,but in the end its a movie about faith and the power of religion.I would recommend it but I would have done this in much different way.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
