Only quibble would be in Act 4 - parade of participants in the bullring - much too close to see the costumes and people. Too many in too close proximity to really enjoy the variety. Secondly, the "fill in" for the torreodor was too timid and lacked stage presence and machismo. Excellent voice and perfedt physique, however. Carmen and Don Jose more than made up for these shortcomings.
We took a first time opera observer with us and she was totally enamored with the opera. What a great way to see opera. Please, keep showing them.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
