This should have been a good movie. It had intelligent themes of environmental exploitation, colonialism, aboriginal culture, military-industrial complex, David vs. Goliath, with a sprinkling of sexism and an identity search thrown in.
But it was generic. there was no emotional depth.
(Or maybe I have a hard time emotionally connecting to 8 ft tall blue humanoids...)
Weak "blockbuster" follow-up to Titanic.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
