Are the critics on crack?

Tron: Legacy wasn't anywhere near as bad as the critics and the media have made out -- I was actually surprised about how good a movie it really is. It really wasn't anywhere NEAR as bad as the original. The graphics were stunning (especially in Real D), the soundtrack was great, and the actors did a fantastic job. Don't get me wrong, this wasn't anywhere near the level of "Avatar", but it was a pretty good movie in it's own right. I'll definitely add this to my BlueRay collection when it comes out.

Wonderful Picture

What a wonderful movie! My wife and i watched this in the RealD 3-D format and it was absolutely amazing! A fantastic story, great CGI throughout and a great soundtrack make for a truly great movie. I don't have children but would definitely recommend this picture to any adult who still has the imagination to truly experience this piece. I can also see the lengths the producers went to for the little ones -- the violence in really tame and the death scenes are all implied rather seen in their gory form.

Not Completely like the cartoon series but...

This movie wasn't exactly like the cartoon series, but it was an excellent movie in it's own right. I'd highly recommend this one to anyone. However, I'd have to say that the 3D on this movie wasn't as good as some others, Avatar for instance.

The critics got this one wrong

Before I watched the movie I noticed that several movie critics really didn't like this movie, so I wasn't really sure what to expect. Boy did they get this one wrong! This was an excellent action movie, easily on par with any you would have seen in the last ten years. I actually can't wait for this one to come out on DVD. This really was a great movie.

Very good movie

My wife and I actually like this movie -- granted it was predictable, but it had a very engaging storyline and the characters worked well together. I'd definitely recommend this one to anyone!

INCREDIBLE MOVIE!!!

This film is almost beyond words -- basically, it's fantastic! Excellent eye candy scenery, a great story, and wonderfully sculpted characters. There's really not a down side to this one! Congratulations James Cameron...you hit this one out of the park!

Pretty Darn Good Movie!!!

I'd have to say I give this installment a solid 4 out of 5. Excellent movie, good character and actors, and some really funny comic relief. The main problem I had with the movie was that when you were being told the back stories about all of the human characters it seemed to drag on and on. Then when it came to some of the big action scenes (the final scene, for example) they seemed to be rushed. Still, I'd go see this movie several times in the theaters. Very good!

This movie is pure, unadulterated vengence -- I love it! This was an excellent guy movie -- tons of action, good flow, and lots of violence. This is one of the best movies of this genre I've seen in a very long time.

All in all an excellent movie! The animation is everything you'd expect from Pixar. I just wish I could've seen the movie without the interruptions of a bunch of 2 yr. olds!
