Right out of the gate this movie is a visual treat that only gets better as the movie goes along. It quickly grabs you and immerses you into a world full of fanciful creatures and beautiful landscapes. Throw on top of that a well written storyline and cast and you have what has to be one of the best movies I have seen in a long time.
There are political undertones to the movie that can be a bit disturbing to some movie goers but can easily be ignored. The level of violence in the movie can be a bit strong and I would not recommend this movie for children under 13, thus the reason it got a PG-13 rating.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
