Not my idea of an IMAX screen

This was my second experience with Avatar in 3D so I was very excited about seeing it in IMAX. I would have more "brain space" to focus on the visual effects since I already knew the plot. Unforurtunately, in spite of paying extra for IMAX, the Newport Screen is not what I expect for an IMAX screen. It is flat. So, don't bother to spend the extra gas and ticket price to get an IMAX experience there - go to any local 3D movie screen - and DO see it in 3D. It is awesome. Maybe some day they will have late night showings at the Museum Center with a REAL IMAX screen.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
