Just when you think blockbuster movies are old news, along comes Ghost Protocol and stands out as a superb example of the genre. Tom Cruise understands the business as well as anyone, and this is a masterful production. It's astonishing how many movies fail because they were made from poor or mediocre scripts. Without a well-wrought story, a movie never stands a chance. But the Ghost Protocol script was tight, logical, and thrilling. And it's everything you could want an action movie to be. In the end, it's a well-directed, strongly acted thrill ride that is just big fun. See it in iMax.
