An exciting, fun addition to the Star Trek franchise. A little too much effort to make the audience laugh, but well worth the theatre experience. Saw it in 3D and while not a big fan of 3D films yet, the experience was enjoyable except for the numerous tight facial shots where you could count the pores on the actors faces. Also glad JJ Abrams reduced the number of camera flare shots which were innovative but somewhat distracting in the previous film.

Cons too many facial closeups
Yes, I recommend this movie.
