Story was predictable -- it's been done many times before. That having been said, from a visual standpoint, the film was both creative and beautiful. We were all a bit disappointed with the 3D effects. I saw it with three other people and we all expected a lot of images to come off the screen at us. While a few things here and there did emerge from the screen, for the most part none of us perceived the type of impressive 3D effects that we anticipated.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
