I enjoyed the movie. I have been asked what is it about and the response some of my friends and I have come up with is "Fern Gully" meets "Phochotans".
If you are trying to chose beween 3D and IMAX. I would go with the IMAX. The 3D screen I saw it on was a bit narrow and close.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
