I would have love to have seen it!

While I have seen Avatar in the Imax 3D Experience, the rest of my family has not. I would certainly recommend the movie to someone, but I would warn them never to buy their tickets via website. I paid $14.50 per ticket plus a $1 service charge for the website. We made it to the theater only to find out that the Imax machine was broken. They said they would refund our tickets, which they did at $12.50 per ticket. They couldn't refund the full cost because the $1 is not their charge, and since the Imax was down they didn't have a movie that cost $14.50 that day to refund the whole ticket cost. After much complaining, I received a "free movie ticket" that I think is a racket, because who goes to the movies alone.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
