Not What I Expected - Not in a good way

I never read the book. The synopsis of this movie made me think it would be more about a father trying to actively track down the man who murdered his daughter but it was about a girl being lured to an underground lair and murdered. They never reveal how, they just show her fighting with the soon-to-be murderer and then she's wandering around, trapped between Heaven and Earth. The transitions were not well thought out. The story then shows her family trying to move on in, complete with the mother-in-law moving in (the comedy portion of the movie) and the mother moves out to pick fruit for a living. There was no flow, the ending was very disappointing. There was no justice, and that’s what I was really looking for in the ending.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
