This documentary is eye opening. It accurately tells the story of how hopeless someone with lyme disease feels when they don't happen to show the typical symptoms or get a positive test. It angers that me that I had this disease 12 years ago (was lucky enough to be successfully treated...after my mom pressured doctors to keep testing after lots of negative tests) and that the testing process still has not improved. The film highlights how dangerous our health care system is for those with chronic/expensive treatment needs, due to the conflicts of interest for those defining treatment guidelines leveraged by insurance companies.
