John Cameron has certainly produced an evocative and thoughtful film. Not only does he entertain with the beautiful CGI, but he also is able to force us to think about our country's military position in the real world in which WE live. He does it quite eloquently, too. The two hours and forty minutes of this movie unfold without any banality or heavy handed propaganda. I hope that after the patina from the great special effects used in this movie wears off, that the majority of people who view this very special movie will begin to think critically about our position in the world of today.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
