The plot is pretty predictable (think Dances with Wolves) with an important difference, and at times feels too long, but the production values are excellent. 3-D is not merely a gimmick but seamlessly part of the storytelling. Some might feel uncomfortable as to whose gruesome deaths the film is making them cheer for, but in my opinion that is all well and good. A word to the wise: Do not drink beer, or too much of any liquid, before the movie. An intermission would've been nice.
