colorful surprise

I hadn't been terribly excited to see Avitar. However, considering advancements in 3D and sound, I was curious. My husband talked me into seeing this film. I was surprised by the crispness of the picture and the detail of the characters in the film. The plot of the film was interesting, but at times a little too hoaky, spiritually speaking -- very political. Overall, it was a great film. Very innovative, indeed. Quite a visual rollercoaster. I probably wouldn't have wanted to see the film without 3D. Sci-Fi is not my thing and I would have been bored.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
