This film, in the end, portrays America and it's military complex as wontingly greedy bloodthirsty usurpers of that which belongs to other peoples. The Navi were a portrayal of all those peoples that "seem?" to have been wronged by America , including navtive Americans and the destruction of Bhagdad for the UNOBTAINiable oil, the deforestation of Vietnam, etc. Viewers wanted to become the Navi and fight this mean Goliath and kill them. In the Matrix, the good guy and the bad guys wore black, in Avatar the bad guy wore a US Marine Corps uniform and represented no fictional entity, but America. In the end, this film may serve as a recruitment tool for desenters from within to join the ranks of terrorists and to develop American self-hatred.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
