Excellent movie, when in 2D. It's even better in IMAX 3D. This 3D isn't your old school version with an occasional hand reaching out to grab you. This 3D makes the movie seem real. As if you're no longer looking through a screen, but instead you're actually there. Most criticism attacks the plot/theme of the movie as not being "original", but who cares! With so many movies every year, we can't have an original plot every single time. In fact, this movie makes up for the plot by creating a completely unique world. Instead of your typical green alien with 2 tentacles on their head, we have this feline based alien on a planet where every animal is unique in design and has 6 legs etc...
Overall, 5 out of 5 easy.
