Same idea as 'A Star is Born' except instead of Kristofferson doing cool stuff like wrecking motorcycles, Bridges spends time hugging toilet, vomiting bile. The plot was weak, but Jeff Bridges was great, as usual. The dialogue had me laughing several times. It's worth a see, but the movie isn't what it could have been -- it's the story of an alcoholic rather than that of a country songwriter.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
