Sherlock does it again

This was a marvelous way to spend two hours. The characters are delightful, it is well directed and the action is great.
The best part is the ending, exceptionally well done.

This movie captures more than your imagination. I have never seen 3D used more effectively, you can tell the movie has been done by the masters of film making. Each character is well cast, sympathetic and offers a look into how we each feel at any time. The time frame is perfect and while often the situation presented is exaggerated in other films, in HUGO everything is believable, down to the slightest detail. It is heart warming with enough humor to keep you happy and angst to make you cry. It is a must see.

This movie has just the right amount of twists and turns to keep you interested without confusing you. Lots of action, good acting, directing and effects. It's a winner.

Dark Delight

I very much enjoyed this movie however there were parts that dragged and I believe they could have edited out about 15-20 minutes of the film.
While Harry Potter has been promoted as a chlldren's series I don't recommend any under 12 seeing this movie.
There are some suggestions and undertones that I loved but would probably terrify an 8 year old.

Great effects

The 3D effects were wonderful as was the general visual effects of the movie. While it was enjoyable the story was a bit a dated and predictable.

Sherlock Holmes had a deliciously dark feel without taking it too far. The cast was well chosen and the director did a great job.

Brendan Fraser did his usual good job and the other stars played their roles well.

Good Stuff!

It's hard for this to be a bad movie, with Spielberg and Ford.
Kingdom of the Crystal Skull had all the right components of excitement and characterization.
Shia LaBeouf did a wonderful job as Mutt and we are looking forward to seeing him follow in his 'father's' footsteps.
The only negative and it is minor is a bit of predictability, but that was easily overcome by the positives.
