where to start on how bad this film was? I can't believe I paid to go see this crap. To the movie makers out there please tell a good story before you make the effects. The story was told in the first 15 min of this film the ending credits didn't even match the film. what the hell are you trying to do set up for a mad max monster movie to come.

Not what I hoped for.

Maybe this was an attempt at building a new feeling film. I was excited about the concept of all the alices from the first film and they are all gone in minutes. Then the cure they have quested for for three films is used right after that. The lectur looking character locked up in the cage??? what was that for. In previous films we get to know about the villian but the development of this vIllian wasn't there. It was a fun movie but did not really do the films justice, and I could care less about 3D.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

I love the predator concept, and I was excited to see them want to make this film and I thought the concept clever, but then i thought why? Past predators have always hunted the home grounds of their prey. This didn't feel right. then the characters that we met, i think to many were put into play to give us time to see them as real killers. and the fearless leader didn't seem to enjoy the hunt as much as a true killer should. In past movies the hunters that survived were respected, I feel the honnor was taken from the fight. The aliens were just killing machines in this film. The film maker took away what we knew of these aliens and didn't teach us anything new.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

I liked the direction the movie tried to take but it felt like an incomplete documentery made before its time, or to late. The reporter putting the story out never set the stage for the film. Her story should have been told. Then matts character driven to find wmd's why what bug got up his *@&% and made him want break from his orders. Was that based on a real soldier? Where is the glue binding the story together?

Mad Max finds God

The world has fallen in war and the atomic bomb has riped the world appart. One man steps into the light to guide the remaining groups to salvation. Using quotes from the bible that where used to slaughter people in pulp fiction. In the end we see that Eli was walking on water for the whole picture, however the book ends up on the shelf and we are left with the same image of the Bible that we have had for centuries. I felt the dept of the story was lacking and it didnt really challenge the veiwer to question faith one way or the other. Maybe a present day savior would be better than waitting til the world is blown up to have or faith reborn. Or better yet how about a film where we begin to have faith in each other.

Not your ave. Holmes

No its not the holmes you grew up with and yet the man we knew still comes through. Holmes has been given a more agresive tone to go along with his over logical mind. Watson was always a defenderd of sherlock but never had the confidance that the new character has in this film. The relationship between the two comes accross as a couple brothers out to get into more trouble than they should.
The story it self is an old one of magic verses science. For the sherlock fans you will find many great quotes and tibits from your favorite books, like the fact that holmes only refers to Addler as the woman. This is a fun and new look at an old classic I recomind you leave expectations at the door and enjoy the new holmes.
