Total guy flick, but my girlfriend also liked it. Funny lines, great action. I think they're leading up to another batch of superhero movies which will be sweet! I loved the jab at Captain America btw

Cliche' plot with exellent visuals

Originally, I thought Kevin Costner should've made a cameo appearance because the plot was so similar to Dances With Wolves. A previous reviewer mentioned the plot was like Pocahontas, which is probably a more accurate comparison, because the antagonist was right out of a Disney movie. No depth, and if you are in the military don't be offended by the 1-sided shallow portrayal of the armed forces. That and Evil Corporations.
Plot misgivings aside, the visuals and acting is solid. I'd recommend seeing this in IMAX 3D if possible, as it really is an experience.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
