Transformers 2 has Fallen short

I was worried that Transformers 2 would have all the same symptoms as Bad Boys 2. BB2 took everything that made the first movie great and tossed it in the garbage.
Those fears were realized in T2. Sam's frantic ramblings are old and worn out, the Transformers' personalities have become a mockery and the plot was left at the door. The movie races from action scene to action scene with a bit of cheesy dialogue stuck in between. Throw in a few racist stereotypes and call it a wrap.
All in all, the movie could have been worse, but that is really not the phrase you want to utter after watching a movie that you've been waiting for since you were a kid.
