Deceitful dazzle, decaying core

It would be hard for a movie to get more values wrong than this one. It reduces God to a tree, and teaches the worship of nature, as if the creation was greater than its Creator. This worship of nature is in fact idolatry, and strictly forbidden by God in the first of the Ten Commandments (Deut. 5:7). Having no fear of God, the movie then does not hesitate to trash our military during a time of war. The plot holes are stupefying. At the end, the humans are kicked off the planet in disgrace; but what would stop them from returning in greater power? While the profligately expensive graphics are visually impressive, next year there will undoubtedly be something better. This movie has no redeeming value, and should be avoided as an utter waste.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
