I've seen the movie twice now, and I must say.. People who take this movie as a personal attack; calling it anti-american, anti-military - They really miss out on the subtle undertones of the movie that (to me) human's capability for compassion & understanding in spite overwhelming urges towards greed, and numb indifference.We are only taught to hate and fear what we do not understand.
Not to spoil it for people who haven't seen the movie yet..many plot changing events occur after a display of humility or a selfless sacrifice. In short, this movie is stunning in both cinematography and message.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
