This movie reminded me of the first time I saw Star Wars or King Kong on the big screen as a kid. It was an epic event - a change in the type of movies of the time.
I was genuinely surprised at the impact this movie had on me. It was interesting in both the graphics and scenery as well as the story line - think John Wayne western with good guys and bad guys - this is really no different. The audience even clapped for the good guys in the end!
I found myself forgetting that I was wearing 3D glasses and that the main characters were 10 ft tall blue creatures - the visual effects were stunning and so life like that you almost forgot you were at the movies.
This movie is pure entertainment - go see it, you won't regret it.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
