Avatar Imax 3D simply a must see

I hadn't been to the movies since the LOTR trilogy. And I was pretty removed from all the hype, not being a regular moviegoer. However, a couple of friends told me I had to go see this movie, and so we did.
We were blown away!! The movie is a visual feast. While I can't imagine not seeing the Imax 3D version, because it's SO spectacular, I'm sure it would still be a terrific experience.
The story was simple, and nothing terribly innovative, but enjoyable, nevertheless. Compelling enough to keep your attention, and plays a supporting role to the entire experience.
Bottom line - don't miss seeing this movie on the big screen, and go to the IMAX 3D version if you possibly can.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
