as a movie, i give it a B-. as a cinematic experience, it gets an A. The world he created is amazing. Too bad he is trapped in the hollywood cliches of good guy duking it out w/ bad guy as the climactic scene. Another "anti-militarism" movie that glorifies war. sigh
Yes, I recommend this movie.
