Based on many poor reviews here I almost didn't see this film, glad I chose to ignore them.. This is a very DIFFERENT kind of horror flick. Not just your usual "teens in a cabin in the woods get sliced & diced" kind of movie. It has enough scary moments, some funny moments but overall really keeps the audience guessing as to WHAT is really going on. You'll be hard pressed to figure it all out. Yes, we have some nudity, some hacking and bloody murders but also some humor but most of all an original story line that will entertain you. Acting is good (you'll recognize many faces here). Even Sigourney Weaver show up. See this one!

I am pretty easy to please as all I want in a movie is a little distraction from reality and a bit of entertainment.
"Couples Retreat" is a total waste of time. You will be on your deathbed someday wishing you could get that 1Hour 47Minutes back !!
Hopefully the popcorn was good, the A/C temperature was comfortable and you had a nice nap while those around you were suffering through this mess of a "comedy". I feel pretty sure no sounds of laughter would wake you from your slumber...
PS: **The "resort" (the St Regis in Bora Bora) was gloriously beautiful. I can only hope they don't allow annoying couples like these to set foot on the island....
