Diving into the human nature and letting the viewer swim back to shore, the movie will make you feel a true touch of reality and humanity with all its bad and good at once. Characters are complex, although simply human. Newcomer Katie Jarvis drags you directly to the center of her imperfect life and her struggle to understand herself, her desires and fears. Michael Fassbender delivers one of his great performances: intense and skin piercing, though extremely gentle. His interaction with Katie’s character intensifies over the course of the film, exploding in complexity towards the end. The film will let you wonder, question and decide each character. Andrea Arnold is simply not going to tell you a story she will let you see it for yourself.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
