it was entertaining. wouldn't need to see it again. don't really need to see any sequel when it comes out. thought robert downey jr/ jude law with their great skills and great looks, along with rachel mcAdams' costumes would make it good. but it left me neither here nor there. sherlock's detective skills were a bit far fetched. special effects and scenery with cg are over the top and unnecessary. maybe too da vinci code with the whole "order" bit. prefer perioud pictures to be authentic. best thing in the film: rachel McAdams moments of kick but girlie toughs on the streets whilst wearing an oddly sexy fuscia bustle and ridiculous victorian chapeau.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
