great story & visual effects; 3D glasses need work

I loved the message of environmentalism that underlies this story, and it was embedded in a first-rate plot. The CG effects are spectacular. I would have preferred a bit less in the way of battle scenes and a deeper development of how much humans have trashed their own planet by 2154, but that's a minor criticism.
The 3D glasses don't work well for someone who wears glasses for myopia. They were too small to comfortably fit over my glasses, and, if I put the 3D specs on first and my glasses over them, the fit was OK, but the 3D didn't work. Clip-on 3D lenses for eyeglasses, with no legs, would have solved this problem. If you're near-sighted, wear contact lenses if you have them!
