Avater Imax/3D Wows Visually

The Imax/3D version of Avatar was quite the spectacle. I was a little unsure of how the 3D would work, but the effect is incredible. Several times I felt I could reach out and grab items in front of me and it gets you immersed in the movie. The plot line is familiar and predictable, but the acting is good enough and the pace is fast, so you don't mind. I would definitely see it in 3D and if you have an IMAX theater near you- it's worth the extra money.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
