I've Seen Magic

I am 58 years old, and thought I had pretty much seen everything, that is until I saw Avatar in 3D at an IMAX theater. I should say that I work as a television producer and director and always can tell where the effects are in a film. This is the first film I have ever seen that had me completely and totally immersed and buying everything as real. I felt I was ON Pandora with the characters.
Long story short, yeah, all the cliches...I laughed, I cried, but most of all after nearly three hours I didn't want to leave the theater. James Cameron is a genius and Avatar has leapfrogged The Godfather to become my all time favorite movie. Nuff said.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
