I agree with many here that there were major flaws in this film. It was pretty boring for the majority of the film...however, based on how thrilling the ending was, I think it was the filmmaker's purpose to numb the mind so that the scary scenes would feel more scary than if the thrill was consistent throughout. I have to confess that this did freak me out when I went to bed that night.
Be prepared to sit through some sillyness, some bore and cheese, but it's all worth it in the end.
Yes, I recommend this movie.

this movie is HILARIOUS and so creative. the graphics are amazing and the 3D effects are seamless.
The story is unique, funny and chock full of lovable characters. I would suggest this to young and old and all in between.
