Extraordinary. Not only did James Cameron bring together historical themes, real human emotion, and a beautiful truth of energy flow, but he made a real dramatic film in 3D. You didn't sit there apart from the characters, you were almost like a ghost as they were telling you a story, up close. He made the character of Jake Sully absolutely sweet, caring, loving, ambitious, and pure, even though he came from a corrupt world. The scenes were masterfully projected. It felt like all the science, the history, and emotions of our lives were perfectly bound together. Just excellent!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
