A Spectacular Spectacle

I must say, I first went into this movie blind. i knew from others that it was a "great movie!". So I saw it in IMAX and naturally went to the theater with an open mind and high expectations. I was completely and utterly floored. The CG is flawless, and the actors were brilliant and captured every detail. The dialouge at times was slightly dorky, but it was very true to life. The entire movie I found myself being lost in the very relatable story and the magic of the scenery. And the 3-D made it feel so real I caught myself a few times thinking about jumping up into the screen to try and help during the battle sequences. This movie deserves the extra money to be seen in all its 3-D glory on the big screen. (IMAX is even better!)
Yes, I recommend this movie.
