The human CGI is so realistic, my wife was in awe of the make-up effects — completely oblivious to the fact she was, instead, watching animation. The "acting' shown is now stored digitally, and can be used for other projects, with other images. One can only imagine how quickly an enormous library of reactions and portrayals will accumulate. In the end, the day of the live actor may take its place—along side the day live orchestra—as a fond memory, and SAG may become as irrelevant as the AFM. Fortunately, the short-comings of the script highlight the fact that we are a long way from the day of the "Digital Writer."
