Fresh Take on Sherlock

Kudos to Guy RItchie for re-envisioning Sherlock, as well as Sherlock's relationship with Watson. Downey & Law are marvelous together, with a Sherlock that's strong in body as well as mind and Watson possessing a backbone and a life separate from Sherlock. Victorian London is shown as gritty.......not a frill or ruffle anywhere. Good pacing, good mystery, fantastic chemistry between Sherlock and Watson. Quite a bit of fighting--which I do not like--.but fun to see how Sherlock applies his analytic brain to violent physical activity. As a long-time fan of Sherlock and as more of a "chick" type of movie lover, I could've hated this movie. I didn't. Go see it!
