Long and a very flattering review of nelson mandela, who mainly deserves our praise. BUT the movie deifies him. Does anyone else recall the American Jewish Committee invited Pres. Mandela to NY to receive its highest honor. On arrival, he used the AJC for a hugely anti-Israel platform . . . and was sent home. The movie, which is quite long, hints at Mandela's naivete in his presidential role - after serving decades on Robben Island, who wouldn't be? Good performances by morgan freeman and matt damon. I would recommend.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
