Jeff Bridges is a natural. His acting seems effortless. He’s one of those gifted artists that give you the impression that the way he does a scene is the only right way it could have been portrayed. And Ms. Gyllenhaal is not far behind. She’s the perfect partner/inspiration for Bridges as he meanders through the lows and highs of life on the road. But the end of the film left me unfulfilled. It felt as if the writers couldn’t decide how to end the film and simply chose the best alternative they had. Don't let this stop you from seeing the movie. The great acting makes it worth the price of admission.
