Unbelievable Technology

This movie was a glimpse into the future of cinema. I highly recommend you see it in 3-D format, to fully appreciate the film's immersiveness.
There were some weak points. The character development is a bit thin, some of the writing is outrightly silly (Unobtainium??? The Flux Vortex?? The Tree of Souls?), and the movie's message is nearly beaten into the audience by a horde of giant blue aliens. But if the movie is to earn an Oscar, it is not for dramatic depth. It is worthy as a piece of art simply because it will make you wonder what the movie-going experience will be like in 20 years.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
