Fun, albeight unrealistic, ride

I have been a big fan of Star Trek for years. Overall, the director and cast did a great job.
Saw it on a real (large) IMAX. Recommend sitting closer to the rear due to frequent motion.
A few gripes: beaming onto a faster-than-light ship, "red matter", the way black holes are used and interacted with.
The interiors of the ship seemed much more interesting than previous versions. The engineering room looked more similar to that of a modern ship, with multiple floors of pipes, tanks, and the like (though it felt a bit TOO big).
