Much like Titanic, but watch your self-image

It's a very good movie, and better than I expected from seeing the trailer. I found the 3D effects more distracting than thrilling.
It's another Titanic in many ways, bringing forth some pretty important messages through means of time-tested Hollywood cliches.
The new motion capture technology for faces works pretty well. Which is going to empower directors to create more artificial bodies like those of the N'Avi, ideal in the eyes of our image makers.
Impossibly tall, impossibly thin, but bulging in just the right way for both sexes.
Now it will be even easier to promote impossible body images to kids and adults alike.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
