Weak story

First, I'll say the picture is vivid and the 3d is not overdone. Lovely to see.
That being said, the storyline is quite weak. SPOILER ALERT: Soldier sent to fight a peaceful and primitive people for their resources, falls in love with culture and girl, turns on his masters, battles ensue, peaceful people win. The movie's message is way outdated and thus a poor spend of the $100mm plus this film cost to produce.
Go see it. Take your teenage relatives. But don't get fooled into thinking that the extinction of primitive civilizations is anywhere near the top of our planet's challenges today.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
