We loved it! Satisfied all the childhood memories of reading the book and the adult love for Johnny Depp. He is so talented and versatile!! Tim Burton put together a great tale with the help of Lewis Carrroll's great story! The characters were perfectly cast - just pure escapism!!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
