I remember the book I read as a child. It's a great tale. The movie does great justice to the book. 3D made it fun!

Visually, unexcelled. I saw it it Imax 3D and it was really neat. The story line was somewhat predictable and they were some obvious political statements made but very worthwhile.Sadly, the volume was so loud I had to stuff pieces of a napkin in my ears and they were still ringing after the movie.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
