This contribution to the massive list of already made Harry Potter films marks an important point in not just the story but in the journey Harry Potter fans have been on.
With the cast turning into young adults and the ability to focus on a much larger scale of action and adventure the split between action and drama within this new film was phenominal. The beginning of the film marked an all time high of anticipation being the "beginning of the end" as some have refered it as being. From the start The Deathly Hallows Part 1 was perfect and covered every aspect fans were wanting to see, though only a short time frame into the film the pace at which the film was on went from an amazing speed to a slowing steady pace that remained for the rest of the film and accomplished to make what could have been put into a few clips into the majority of the 2 hours left of the film.
The setting in this film was dissapointing though expected with Harry unable to attend his final year of school, leaving so much unfinished. Seeing the Deathly Hallows Part 1 through the Harry Potter Adventure was an amazing 8 hours that won't be found on the big screen in repetition ever again. The overall of the movie was exciting and amazing just being a Harry Potter movie though the end feeling it leaves you with is that they didn't turn the final book into two movies, they just made one movie and cut it in half, which was not what was told.
Seeing a film such as Avatar in this experience only enhances the pleasure and experience 100x fold. Avatar sets the pace with graphics worth astonishing and a almost flawless drawing-in storyline for any fan of films, not just Sci-Fi. The graphics are amazing, the storyline is mind-boggeling, the cast is superb, the lore is fantastic, and the whole experience has created a new fanbase around the world who haven't been able to stop thinking or discussing Avatar after watching it. This is how the box office has only dropped by a fraction per week. Can't wait for the two sequels.Seen it 3 times, twice in Imax-3D
